คนที่ใช้ระบบปฏิบัติการวินโดว์ส่วนใหญ่ คงไม่มีใครที่ไม่รู้จักชุดโปรแกรมที่ใช้ทำงานด้านเอกสารและสำนักงานที่มีชื่อว่า “Microsoft Office” กันแน่ ซึ่งนับว่าเป็นหนึ่งในผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เป็นจุดขายหลักของไมโครซอฟต์นอกเหนือจากวินโดส์ ล่าสุดทางไมโครซอฟต์ได้ทำการเปิดตัว Office 2013 หรือที่มีรหัสพัฒนาว่า Office 15 ซึ่งเป็นชุดโปรแกรม Office เวอร์ชั่นใหม่ล่าสุดต่อจาก Office 2010 ที่ใช้กันในปัจจุบัน
Office 2013 มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงในแง่ของหน้าตาไปจากเวอร์ชั่นก่อนมากพอสมควร โดยที่เห็นได้ชัดคือมีการปรับเปลี่ยนหน้าตาให้เป็นแบบเมโทร และรองรับกับหน้าจอระบบสัมผัส ที่สอดคล้องกับใน Windows 8และ Windows Phone มากยิ่งขึ้น แต่ในแง่ของฟีเจอร์และระบบภายในยังไม่แตกต่างกับเวอร์ชั่นเดิมมากนัก
Office 2013 ตอนนี้ยังเป็นเพียงเวอร์ชั่นทดสอบการใช้งาน (Consumer Preview) เท่านั้น ซึ่งไมโครซอฟต์ได้เปิดให้ทุกคนสามารถดาวน์โหลดมา(ลอง)ใช้กันได้ฟรีๆ และจะรองรับตั้งแต่ Windows 7 ขึ้นไปเท่านั้น (XP กับ Vista หมดสิทธิ์)

- Access 2013 – โปรแกรมสำหรับจัดทำญานข้อมูล
- Excel 2013 – โปรแกรมคำนวนและตาราง
- Onenote 2013 – โปรแกรมสมุดจดบันทึก
- PowerPoint 2013 – โปรแกรมสร้างงานนำเสนอ
- Publisher 2013 – โปรแกรมสร้างสื่อสิงพิมพ์
- Word 2013 – โปรแกรมจัดการเอกสารยอดนิยม
- Office 2013 Tools – เครื่องมือจัดการด้านภาษาและการอัพเดทของแต่ละโปรแกรม
ทดลองเล่นโปรแกรม Word ครับ ใช้งานภาษาไทยได้ไม่มีปัญหา
หน้าตาของโปรแกรมล้วนถูกออกแบบให้เป็นสไตล์เมโทร (เหมือน Windows 8)
แต่ละโปรแกรมในชุด Office 2013 มีควยามสามารถในการเชื่อมต่อกับ Skydrive บนเว็บได้อีกด้วย
ทดลองเปิดไฟล์เอกสารที่สร้างมาจาก Office เวอร์ชั่นอื่นๆ ได้ไม่มีปัญหาเช่นกันครับ
หน้าตาของโปรแกรม Excel มีแทมแพลตมาให้เลือกที่หน้าแรกเลย
อันนี้ก็โปรแกรม Power Point ครับ
ลองเล่นจับลากๆ วางๆ ดูแล้วพบว่าเนียนใช้ได้เลยครับ

Microsoft has announced it’s next version of productivity suite Microsoft Office 2013, codenamed Microsoft Office 15. Microsoft Office 2013 Consumer Preview is released for public to get their hands on with the software.

It also comes with social features like Yammer integration for business customers, Skype integration with 60 minutes of Skype World every month and 20GB of SkyDrive storage.
